Port Campbell is situated on the Great Ocean Road 283km south west of Melbourne in Victoria .

There are several walks around the Port Campbell area.
Beacon Point - A 450 m return walk from the car park above the pier. The walk follows a reclaimed section of the Old Ocean Road via the war memorial to a great viewing platform. Early morning and dusk visitors may enjoy a chance sighting of a Southern Brown Bandicoot. Continue along the Old Ocean Road to the streets atop the hill or return to the car park. Inclines and loose surfacing make this trail inappropriate for wheelchairs.
Take a walk along the Discovery walk that skirts the cliff top. The walk is 4.7km return, allow 1.5 hours. The walk can be accessed via steps cut into the cliff at the western edge of Port Campbell beach or from the scenic lookout on the Ocean Road west of town. Access from the beach requires a crossing of Campbell's creek, take care of sea conditions and know the tide times. There are interpretive signs on the walk, great views and opportunities to spot local wildlife such as the Rufous Bristlebird and the enigmatic echidna. Loose surfacing and inclines make this walk inappropriate for wheelchairs.
Surfing at Two Mile Bay is revered as one of the best big-wave breaks in Australia.
